Boat Bookings

Before making any advanced bookings, members must read and understand the Boat Booking Terms and Conditions including three important points:

1. Acceptance of a liability for booking cancellations (terms para 9) and the skipper's damage liability (terms para 18-19).

2. Members are reminded that they cannot make more than two advanced summer bookings (1st April - 30th September) for a maximum of 2 weekends, or no more than 14 days in total (terms para 6). And for insurance purposes, they must also complete an online crew list prior to departure.

3. Members / skippers need to fully understand the skipper and crew qualifications that are required for different passage plans and different weather conditions (terms para 20).  The skipper / booking member will be FULLY LIABLE for any damage or loss incurred if the boat is being used outside the scope of these rules.

St Barbara V

St Barbara V is Rustler 42 with 9 berths.  For 2026, the weekend booking rate is £260 per day for summer weekends (1 April - 30 Sep) and £165 for winter weekends (Jan-Mar and Oct-Dec). The mid-week booking fee is £110 per day in the Summer months and £100 per day in the winter months. The minimum skipper qualification is a RYA Yachtmaster Coastal with second crew member to be Day Skipper (see terms para 20 for more details).

IMPORTANT NOTICE

If you are booking St Barbara V at the end of the season (from September onwards), please note that your booking may not proceed as we are currently looking at plans to prepare her for sale during this period.  Any member who has booked her at this time will get a full refund if she is unavailable for charter.

Bombardier III

Bombardier III is a Halberg-Rassy 342 with 6 berths. For 2026, the weekend booking fee is £205 per day for summer weekends (April - Sep) and £160 per day for winter weekends (Jan-Mar and Oct-Dec). The mid-week booking fee is £90 per day for the summer months and £80 per day during the winter months.The minimum skipper qualification is a RYA Day Skipper with a second crew member who is familiar with the boat (see terms para 20 for more details). 

IMPORTANT NOTICE

If you are booking Bombardier 3 in April this year, please note that our Bosuns are both deployed on other duties during this period. We therefore suggest that only those familiar with the boat make the booking at this time.
